My latest hybrid rudiment is a variation on the single back. Play a drag on the middle note and you are doing Glad Hand Trees.

Magic Rudiment

The Magic Rudiment is a sister rudiment to the Single Flam Drag. Play sixteenth notes with one hand and triplets in the other hand. The only accent is on the first note of the triplet.

Sextup Five

Three stroke rolls played in a five stroke roll feel. A five stroke roll is (rr,ll,r) A Sextup Five is (rrr,lll,r). Lock your wrist, hold on to the stick and rotate from the elbow.
